Order of merit calculator.

Paste each meeting's results. Get the season table.

Choose how the points go and how many rounds count, then copy the table into the group chat or save it as an image. Your results stay in this browser.

Add a meeting

One player per line, name then score. Copy the two columns straight from your spreadsheet.

Highest score wins, so Stableford works as it is. Stroke play? Tick lowest score wins under More options.

Your order of merit appears here Add your first meeting's results. When you've played the next one, add that too and the table moves.

Your table is saved in this browser as you go, so it's still here next time on this device. Nothing is sent to ParClub.

How the points work

Points for where you finish, added up over the season.

After each meeting, rank the field and give points by finishing position. Add each player's points across the season. Most points wins.

The schemes in the calculator

  • 25 to 1: 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1 for the top ten. Rewards the sharp end, and anyone in the top ten gets something.
  • 12 to 1: 12, 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Flatter, and kinder to the middle of the field.
  • Field-size points: 1st gets a point for every player in the field, each place below one fewer. Easy to explain, but a big field stretches the gaps.
  • Your own: type the points for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and so on.

Best of, so a missed meeting doesn't end a season

Count only each player's best rounds. Play twelve meetings, count the best eight, and a member can miss four and still win. It keeps the table fair when people can't make every fixture.

Level on the day

Players who tie share the points for the places they cover. Two tied for second on the 25 to 1 scheme share 18 and 15, so both get 16.5. Players level on points over the season share a place in the table; any countback is your society's call.

Adding up the scores instead

Some societies skip points and add up each player's Stableford scores. Choose that under More options. For stroke play, tick lowest score wins.

When one table isn't enough

This does one table, by hand. A build keeps every table for you.

Here you paste every meeting yourself, under one rule. When we build ParClub for a society, its tables are kept straight from the cards, to its own rules. Rules like these are already built and live:

  • Best three finishes of the meetings that count. The meetings that don't count, don't.
  • A second table over its own run of meetings, with the penalties handed back.
  • Winners' penalties. Win or finish runner-up and you lose shots for the rest of the season and all of the next.
  • Divisions split by handicap on the day, each with its own winner.
The secretary's portal showing a season table: position, member, meetings played, best three finishes and a penalty column.
A season table in the example portal: a working copy of the secretary portal, filled with an invented society. Look round the example portal. Nothing you click is saved.

See it before you pay

Before you pay anything, we set up one of your society's real fixtures so you and the committee can click around it.

Members don't need the app

You can enter any card in the portal, hole by hole or just the total. The ParClub app is free for every member on iPhone and Android, for those who want it.
