Some societies are older than the app store.
We recently rebuilt a society founded in 1904: moved two decades of records across and matched every scoring rule to the shot. If your society has that kind of history, its own way of scoring, and one person who understands the database it all sits in, an app on its own will not do. We build you a portal of your own, and the app comes with it, free for every member.
We rebuild your competitions, to the shot
Carried penalty shots, a second competition that hands them back, divisions cut by hand: the rules that live nowhere but your society. Checked against real cards before you sign off.

Agreed up front, no monthly platform fee. Rescue from £1,450, a full build from £1,950. A specialist firm charges many thousands for this, and again for the smallest change after. We do not.

Questions I get asked a lot.
Is ParClub free?
Yes, for solo golfers, casual golfers, and anyone playing as a member of a paid group. Personal scoring, GPS hole maps, handicap history, past rounds, all free, forever. You never enter a card and nothing nags you to upgrade. The only fee is for whoever runs the group: Pro (£35/yr or £4.99/mo) for small groups up to 20, Masters (£65/yr or £7.99/mo, 7-day free trial) for bigger groups up to 200. Monthly or yearly, your call. Never per-member.
How does the season Order of Merit work?
Every round your society plays automatically rolls into one running table. Points are calculated from each player's Stableford / strokeplay / matchplay result with handicaps applied. The board is live: every member sees where they stand, and where they stand against everyone else, after every round. No spreadsheet rebuild, ever.
What competitions can I run in ParClub?
Stableford, strokeplay, matchplay, plus Tours (multi-event cumulative leagues), Knockouts (single-elimination brackets with auto seeding and draw), and a season-long Eclectic (your best score on every hole, built up across the year). All scored and ranked automatically: no manual maths, no separate spreadsheets per format.
How do members see the live leaderboard during the round?
Every player's score updates on every other player's phone in real time. You watch the back nine resolve on each other's screens, then check the final board back at the 19th.
Do all my members have to install the app?
Members never set up a password, never pay a penny, and never manage their own data. Joining is one tap from a link the captain sends. After that, the app is there for anyone who wants to live-score their own round and watch the board move on the back nine. Nobody has to fiddle with settings or admin: that all sits with the captain.
Do all our members need to pay?
No. Members never pay a penny, ever, on any tier. There is one fee for the whole society per year, and how it's covered is entirely your call: split it across everyone so it's pennies each, or just pay it yourself as the captain. However you handle it, every member plays for free.
Is it only for golf societies?
No. ParClub works for whoever plays golf. Solo golfer tracking your own rounds and handicap: Free tier, forever. Four mates with a WhatsApp group: Pro for the captain, free for the lads. Established society with 60 members: same thing, captain pays Pro or Masters, members free. Use it however you play. The free tier is the actual app, kept for good, with no countdown to a paywall.
What scoring formats does it support?
All the ones society golf actually plays: Stableford, strokeplay, matchplay, plus skins, nearest the pin, knockouts, tours and a season-long eclectic. Handicaps and the Order of Merit are worked out for you. You don't touch a calculator.
Will it work for our course and our handicaps?
ParClub has a UK course database with par and stroke index built in, plus bird's-eye GPS hole maps. It applies handicaps to scoring so you don't have to do the maths. If your course isn't listed yet, photograph the scorecard and the app reads the par and stroke index off it. If anything's wrong, email support@parclub.app and we'll fix it, usually within a day.
On handicaps: ParClub runs on your society's own handicaps, the number your members play off, adjustments and all. You are not tied to a club's official system, and you do not need every member on the same one, which matters when your society pulls players from a dozen different clubs. If your society keeps its own book, a half-shot for the over-sixties, a cap here, a penalty there, that is exactly how the app scores it.
Is our money safe? Do you ever hold it?
ParClub never holds, processes or moves your money. The Pot is a record of who owes what, nothing more. Members settle each other bank to bank through their own apps, exactly as they do now. Some free golf apps take a percentage of every payment they handle; ParClub handles none of it, so it takes none of it.
What happens to our records if we stop paying, or if ParClub disappears?
They're yours either way. Your fixtures, scores and Order of Merit export to a CSV in one tap, any time, whether you're paying or not. Nothing is deleted behind a paywall and nothing is held hostage to us still being around. Nobody else in this category will tell you that in writing.
Can we start mid-season?
Any time. Start fresh from your next round, or add this season's earlier results in one go so the Order of Merit carries the whole year. You don't have to wait for January.
Some of our members aren't comfortable with apps. Will they cope?
They don't need to be technical. Joining is one tap from a link you send, no password to set up. On the day, whoever's happy doing it enters the scores for the group; everyone else just watches the board move. Nobody has to touch a setting.
We already use a spreadsheet and WhatsApp. Why switch?
Because the spreadsheet and the WhatsApp group are two more jobs for you. ParClub does the fixtures, the live group scoring, the Order of Merit, the knockout bracket and the Eclectic in one place, so the admin stops landing on the captain. Keep the spreadsheet alongside for a month, you won't reopen it.
How do you make money if members are free?
The captain's one annual fee is the whole business. There are no ad slots, no investors to repay, and your data is never for sale. One fee, and no hidden second way we make money off you.
Is it just for England, or all of the UK?
The whole UK and Ireland. It is built for amateur golf societies, roll-ups and club societies.

No small print
What ParClub will never do.
- Never charge solo golfers. The Free tier is a real product, not a 7-day trial. You don't hand over a card, there's no countdown running, and nothing gets held back to make you upgrade.
- Never charge members. Not now, not "once we're big". Society members play free, full stop.
- Never touch your money. Some free golf apps take a cut every time a payment moves. ParClub takes nothing, because the money never moves through us. The Pot is a record of who owes what; you settle each other bank to bank, and every penny you collect goes where you send it.
- Never sell or share your data. No ad networks, no brokers, no "partners".
- Never put ads in the app. You paid for it, so it answers to you. Nobody's buying your attention off the side.
- Never take VC money. Nobody to answer to but the captains using it.
- Never re-price you. Your price is locked for as long as you run the society. We won't pull what HowDidiDo pulled.
- Never lock you in. Your fixtures, scores and Order of Merit belong to you. One-tap CSV export, anytime. If ParClub ever stops, you take your season with you.
